How do I measure the size of rings?

1. Choose a ring that you use often, preferably as smooth a ring as possible. 
2. Develop a ruler with millimeter measurements.
3. Place the ring on a flat surface and measure the ring at the widest point.
4. The measurement you have now obtained, measured on the inside of the ring, is the size you are to choose.
